Gun Lae Gun - Piano

tagalog version

love of siam

so sweet...

If i say that i wrote this song for you,
Would you believe me?
It might not be as well written
Or beautiful as other songs
I want you to know that a love song,
Cant be written if youre not in love
But for you, i can write this song so... easily.

You might have heard hundreds
Or thousands of love songs...
They might be meaningful,
But their meanings are for anyone.
When you listen to this song,
It is written only for you.
If you understand the meaning,
Our hearts will be together, forever

The Meaning of Cotton for a 2nd Anniversary

Each year of a marriage corresponds with a different meaning and is exemplified through the gifts received. For the gift giver, finding a gift and trying to maintain its intended meaning can be confusing. An understanding of the year's importance and a range of gift options can make the experience easier.

History

Cotton can be traced back as far as 3000 B.C. to the Indus Valley and Egypt. It is the most commonly used fiber and leading cash crop in the United States.

Significance

The traditional gift for a second wedding anniversary is something related to the material cotton. It symbolizes the need for a marriage to remain strong and be able to adapt to changes.

Function

Cotton is sought after because of its practicality; the many uses include clothing and household materials. Its longlasting aspect is hoped to be reciprocal in a marriage.

Types

Common gift ideas for your mate may be a robe, comfortable lingerie or any other piece of cotton clothing. Gifts of draperies, towels or bedding for the house represent the desire to build and maintain a home together. A cotton hammock would be a great option for the two of you to share.

Fun fact

Not only is the fiber of a cotton plant useful, but cottonseed contains a high protein content. For the anniversary meal, bake your mate a delicious meal with the crushed seeds or add cottonseed oil to your dinner salad dressing.

friends

Its funny how in today’s world when we all need to be pulling together, we all find reason to hate and pull away from each other… What has the term "friendship" come down to nowadays anyways… How do we define a friend, how do we measure our friendship? Do we measure friendship by how much a person does for you? How useful and handy they are to you? I’d say that is a pretty selfish way to define a "friend". Littlest things are enough to rip apart years and years of friendship, and instead of straightening out misunderstandings, we’re left with arguments over who cut who out of their lives first. I’m sick of this… I cant even remember the last time i heard a beautiful story about inseparable friends… Is too much to ask for, to wanna look at love instead of hate… Perhaps we all need to learn to walk in each others shoes more often. Isn't there enough pain and suffering in the world as it is? Can’t we learn to rise above it all…?

Who You Gonna Run To?

When your friends start to trip
And you’re loosin your grip
And you cant find your way back home
When your world falls apart
And you’re lost in the dark
And you know that your all alone
When you just can deal, and you need something real
Someone that’ll always come through
Who ya gonna run to?
