Earth Hour 2009

Earth Hour started in 2007 in Sydney, Australia with 2.2 million homes and businesses turning their lights off for one whole hour. Only a year later and this event had become a global sustainability movement with up to 100 million people across 35 countries participating. Global landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, Rome’s Colosseum and the Coca Cola billboard in Times Square, all stood in darkness, as symbols of hope for a cause that grows more urgent by the hour.

In 2009, at 8.30pm on March 28, we are asking people across the world to turn off their lights and join together in creating the vital conversation about the future of our precious planet. Earth Hour is a message of hope and a message of action. Everyone can make a difference.

It’s as simple as a flick of the switch. Join us for Earth Hour 2009.

it may also mean no

silence doesn't always mean yes, it may also mean no but it's better left unsaid...
anger doesn't always mean hatred, it could just be a means of coping...
laughter doesn't always mean happiness, sometimes it's just a mask...
tears doesn't always mean sorrow, it may also be an outlet of joy...
staying away doesn't always mean it's the end, it may also mean the best beginning...
and though life is so complicated, it's always beautiful...

be thankful that you're one of the few

if people love you, be thankful that you're one of the few whom certain people choose to show their emotions to...
love does not demand to be loved back but it doesn't mean it exist to be taken for granted...
if you can't return the love you're given, dont let it linger to grow alone...
if you dont want it, refuse kindly...
love may not demand but it also deserves a heart that will better understand...

a message worth reading...

"first i was dying to finish high school & start college.
and then i was dying to finish college & start working.
and then i was dying to marry & have children.
and then i was dying for my children to grow old enaf for school so i could return to work.
and then i was dying to retire.
and now, i'm dying..
& suddenly i realize i forgot to LIVE"

sometimes

sometimes, we put too much passion on the biggets dreams &
priorities in life that we fail to love the smallest
pleasures from simple things..
we search so much for the right choices..
for the right paths to walk through..
for the right time & for the right reasons..
but life isn't all about letting go, letting God do the unexpected & finding what truly matters..Godbless.

a song 'bout friendship goes lyk this:

"nagsimula ang lahat sa eskwela, mga tawanan na ky saya,
sa bawat araw na nagkasama, naging mkulay at ky sigla"

but in d middle of the song goes:

"san na nga ba napadpad ang ilan? sa dating eskwela meron ding naiwan"

& d chorus stated

"nasan na nga b ang barkada"

what a sad part of friendship, but it made me smyl when i heard in the last part:

"magkaibigan 2x magkaibigan habang panahon"
